Introduction to Cubs

The 21st Romsey Cubs is for 8 to 10½ year old boys and girls in the Nursling & Rownhams area. We meet at the Peter Digby Scout Centre on a Thursday night from 6pm to 7.30 during term time. Anyone who is interested in joining, should contact Tony Moles (Akela) on 02380 667887.

We run a varied, enjoyable program aimed at achieving various activity badges, developing interest in the world around us, making friends, and most of all having fun! We aim to offer one weekend camp during the summer term, plus occasional visits throughout the year.

It’s not all hard work though – we also have games evenings, cooking and craft evenings too! There are also several District events for Cubs to get involved in.

Parents are requested to help at a Cub meeting once a term, and are more than welcome to get involved in other ways. Perhaps in administration or some area of specialist knowledge - many of you have skills we can make use of!

We attend the annual Remembrance Sunday service at St Johns Church in Rownhams and the St Georges Day parade in Romsey, we always encourage full attendance at these events.
